Parks & Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department is comprised of four divisions: Administration, Parks & Public Lands, Recreation, and Event and Venues. Each division serves a different purpose but works towards the common goal of providing quality programs, facilities, and a variety of enrichment opportunities with excellence. Parks and Recreation offers a full complement of services, including active and passive parks, recreation programs, sports leagues, community events, and rental facilities for our residents and visitors. 

Parks and Recreation enhances quality of life 365 days a year with active programming and services that benefit our quality of life in the City of Kissimmee.

The City of Kissimmee Parks & Recreation Department is committed to providing accommodations to all programs, services, and activities in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In keeping with that policy, reasonable accommodations are provided to customers with disabilities in all Parks and Recreation programs, services, and facilities. ADA accommodations include sign language, alternative information formats, program modifications, and inclusion support for classes and camps. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations required for participation. However, failure to request accommodations within the specified time may limit our ability to complete the request.
