Stormwater

The Stormwater Division is crucial in managing stormwater runoff to prevent flooding, protect water quality, and preserve natural resources within the City of Kissimmee. Working in collaboration with regulatory agencies and community stakeholders, our team designs and maintains a comprehensive network of drainage infrastructure, including ditches, culverts, and retention ponds, to mitigate the impacts of heavy rainfall events. Through proactive planning, education, and maintenance efforts, we strive to minimize flood risks, reduce pollutant discharge into water bodies, and safeguard the integrity of Kissimmee's water resources for future generations.
