Interested in joining our Business Watch Program?

Our Business Watch program is designed for business owners and managers. It allows them to work together and share information about suspicious activity with law enforcement and their neighboring businesses. The group will periodically receive information about local crimes that may impact their daily activities.

Why join KPD's Business Watch?

Promotion of a business becoming acquainted with neighboring businesses.
Training of personnel employed by local businesses to recognize and call police to report suspicious persons and activities.
Implement emergency management techniques, providing for better security and other crime prevention measures.
Provision of tips to prevent fraud and shoplifting.
Helping to solve problems in the business community through a strengthened partnership with the Police Department.
Sharing information about other available resources to assist with solving problems in the business community.
Creating a more direct link of communication between the Kissimmee Police Department and the community

Step 1.Confirm that your business is within City of Kissimmee limits

Although your address may say Kissimmee, you might be in unincorporated Osceola County, where police services are handled by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. Make sure you're in Kissimmee city limits before you continue.

Step 2.Apply to join Business Watch program

Submit an application online to register your business

Step 3.Connect with your business liaison

Once approved, you will be able to work directly with a KPD officer.

Step 4.Schedule training

Once your application is approved, your business can receive training from KPD officers on how to keep your business secure and report suspicious activity.
