Want to make sure your car seat is installed correctly?

Ensuring your car seat is installed correctly is crucial for its effectiveness. Our Community Engagement Unit works with our community to supply a certified safety technician for a thorough car seat inspection and to help install car seats correctly.

We can also organize checkpoints at school or civic group meetings for added convenience.

Step 1.Confirm that you live within City of Kissimmee limits

Although your address may say Kissimmee, you might be in unincorporated Osceola County, where police services are handled by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. Make sure you're in Kissimmee city limits before you continue.

Email our Community Engagement Unit at ceunit@kissimmee.gov to request a car seat installation check.  

Step 3.Receive car seat installation check

KPD officers will work with you to inspect your car seat and help you install it correctly.
