Get Large Items Picked Up

Do you have something too large to fit in your trash container?

The City of Kissimmee will collect some appliances, construction and demolition materials, furniture, and other oversized items without the need to schedule.  

The city will pick up the following items: 

  • furniture
  • appliances
  • mattresses
  • swing sets
  • large boxes
  • large tree trimmings/landscape debris

Step 1.Confirm that your home is within City of Kissimmee limits

Although your address may say Kissimmee, you might be in unincorporated Osceola County, where trash and recycling are handled by Waste Management. Make sure you're in Kissimmee city limits before you continue.

Step 2.Find your bulk pickup day

Check which day of the week we pick up your bulk items.

Step 3.Put your large items on the curb

  • Items should be placed curbside by 7 am on your scheduled bulk collection day.
  • Place items at least four feet away from other objects.
  • Do not block sidewalks or storm drains.
  • Bulk waste cannot be mixed with yard waste or garbage. 
  • Keep tree trimming piles separate from other types of bulk waste. 
  • The City does not pick up items generated by private contractors performing tree or remodeling work at your home. 
  • City employees are not allowed to go on private property. 

Refrigerator Disposal: Be sure to place refrigerators with the door side down or remove the door to prevent children from getting trapped inside.

  1. Under request type, choose Curbside Items
  2. Enter your address
  3. Under description, let us know what items you'll leave out for collection.
  4. Add an image of the items
  5. Enter your contact info
  6. If you'd like to view the status of your request, you can sign up for an account

Step 5.We will pick up your trash

We'll pick up your garbage before your next regular pickup day.
