Trash, Recycling & Yard Waste Schedule

1. Overview

Residential solid waste collection service includes garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk pick up once a week.

The City maintains a fleet of fully automated side-loading trucks and three bulk trucks, servicing all City of Kissimmee residents, four days a week. The fully automated lifts on the City's solid waste fleet enable more homes to be serviced on each route as the trucks pick up more containers at a constant pace.

  5. Containers must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled pick-up day or the evening before.
  6. Remove containers from the street promptly after collection to avoid any inconvenience.

  1. Place trash in brown container, ensuring it's not mixed with yard waste or recycling.
