The Wall That Heals

Since its debut on Veterans Day in 1996, The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., has visited nearly 700 communities nationwide. This traveling exhibit, which includes a mobile Education Center, brings the memorial's legacy of healing to millions, offering veterans and their families a space to reflect, find peace, and connect with their memories in their own communities.

This year, The Wall That Heals will be on display in Kissimmee at Kissimmee Gateway Airport, open 24 hours a day from March 13 - 16, closing at 2 pm on Sunday, March 16. The event is free and open to all. The memorial will arrive with an honorary escort on March 11th, followed by assembly before its opening to the public.

It is a profound honor for our community to host The Wall That Heals. This opportunity allows us to pay tribute to those who served, reflect on their sacrifices, and share in the memorial's enduring legacy of remembrance and healing.

In Memory

Since the Vietnam War ended, thousands of Vietnam veterans have suffered due to Agent Orange exposure, PTSD and other illnesses as a result of their service.The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) believes all those who served in Vietnam should be honored and remembered for their service.The In Memory program enables the families and friends of those who came home and later died the opportunity to have them forever memorialized.
